1) This is a Keeper league. Each owner that enters does commit to this league with the expectation to be an active member of the league. All fees are expected to be paid and
involvement in the leagues day to day operations is
expected to a degree. This would include votes of any kind
(trades, rule changes, or disputes) as well as the
community message board.
2) Playoffs will be the 4 top seeded teams. The Number 1 seed will play the 4 seed, and the 2 seed will play the 3 seed. Losing teams are out of playoffs. The remaining two teams will face off in a Superbowl 2 week extravaganza, adding the totals of the two games to determine a winner. Superbowl will take place week 16 and 17 of the NFL regular season.
3) Upon being eliminated from playoff contention (week 14 for the 6 non-playoff teams) rosters are locked for your individual team. Example: once the playoffs begin only playoff teams can make adds and drops.
Each year after the completion of the season each team will have the opportunity of keeping 6 players total on their team. Any 6 players may be chosen, but no more than 2 at each position. There is a redshirt provision that will allow a 7th player to be kept. This 7th player may be of any position, but must have just completed a rookie season and is entering his sophmore season. In order to keep more than two players at any position one of the three must qualify for a redshirt. You may not substitute a redshirt for one position to keep more players in another position.(i.e. Team A can keep 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, and then a rookie QB on top for a total of 3 QB, 2 RB, and 2 WR.) All remaining players will be dropped and placed in the free agent and rookie draft for the following season. Deadline for dropping of players into the free agent/rookie draft will be set every year by the commissioner prior to the league draft day. If a team still has not dropped players by the time the draft starts, the commish will drop them. For non-playoff bound teams, drafting will be decided by record and tie breakers by points scored. The team with the worst record will have 1st pick in the draft, on up to the team with best record and best point total having last pick in the draft. For all teams that make playoffs, their next years draft position is determined by their playoff record. Tie breakers will then be regular season record and then total points scored.
Draft picks can be traded with a deposit (half) on the league buy-in for the future year in which the picks are from.(i.e.: you must pay half the league dues through the 2020 season to trade the draft picks for the 2020 season.)
4) Winnings will be distributed as follows:
2nd place = 30% of the winnings
1st place = 70% of the winnings
1st place is denoted by the victor in the Super Bowl. 2nd
place is the loser of the Super Bowl. Please contact the commish so arrangements for payment can be made.
5) $110.00 flat fee that covers all transactions is to be paid each season; 2 weeks prior to the draft at the latest. From the total collected, and before payouts are done, the site fee is $100 dollars. The remaining funds will be paid out as explained above in item number 4. Fee amounts are subject to be changed during the off-season by majority vote of league members.
All fees are subject to waiver by the commissioner.
6) Fees deadline: 2 weeks prior to draft the $110.00 payment is due to the commish.
7) Players may be on IR only if the player is actually
listed on RTSPORTS with an O, X, U or an N next to his name.
Any violations of this policy are unacceptable. The commissioner may ask
the owner to correct the problem with future instances
being grounds for an automatic drop of that player from
the team. In which case the team in violation must use an
"add" and pay the add fee to recover the player, as well
as that player being available for any other team to pick
up.
8) All trades are subject to being rejected. The
Commissioner has veto power over any trade that is seen as
being done out of wrongful intent or by deals that may
include but not limited to cash incentives. Further, the
Commissioner may propose a vote for veto of a trade. All
owners not involved in the trade may vote for or against
the trade with majority ruling. A vote once begun may last
2 full days. The final way for rejecting a trade will be
from 3 owners not involved in the trade asking for a vote.
The time frame will be 2 Full days after a trade has been
accepted. The same voting rules would apply after the call
for a vote. If a trade is overturned, and the players were
played for that week, they will count for the team, even
if rejected. The voting will also be conducted using the poll system.
9) All trades must be proposed and completed before the trade deadline set by the commissioner. Trades must be in and finalized before the deadline of starting lineups are due each week.
10) Trades may include the future draft picks so long as future league dues are paid.
11) There is a no trade period that extends from the completion of the fantasy regular season to the deadline for roster cuts which is one week before the start of the draft.
12) The free agent period is frozen after the completion of the fantasy league playoffs. No adds are allowed. Teams must complete their drops to cut there teams down to the roster limits by the time alloted. No players may be added either from the free agent pool or from players that are dropped. The free agent period begins after the draft is completed.
13) Draft position will be determined by the following. Standings: worst to best with lowest points being the tie breaker.
14) All disputes that are not governed by specific rules are subject to ruling by the commissioner, in which the remaining body of owners excluding the owners in dispute and the commissioner may vote to veto the decision made by the commissioner if seen as biased or unfair in any
way. This vote must be a uniform vote with all remaining owners being in agreement. If the commissioner is involved in a dispute he will then set forth a proposal for a decision which will then be voted on by the remaining owners, however, to prevent gridlock, this vote will be a
majority vote of the remaining owners.
